Planning carefully

deciding thoughtfully

This recommendation reflects nearly two years of planning, evaluation, and community engagement. Guided by objective data, community feedback, and the work of district and community task forces, the School Board carefully considered multiple options before developing a recommendation that balances community feedback, educational needs, long-term planning, and responsible stewardship of taxpayer resources.

District-led

As part of its strategic planning efforts, the district formed a District Task Force to review enrollment trends, identify space challenges, and explore preliminary solutions for the future.

community-guided

A Community Task Force, community engagement meetings, and a community-wide scientific survey provided opportunities for residents to review information, ask questions, and help shape the proposed plan.

data-informed

The district completed a Facility Condition Assessment, Educational Adequacy Study, and Demographic Analysis to better understand facility conditions, learning spaces, and future enrollment needs.

board-approved

Assessment findings, community feedback, and recommendations from both task forces helped guide the School Board’s decision to place a bond referendum on the November 3, 2026 ballot.
