Since the current school opened in 2014, enrollment has grown from approximately 611 students to about 745 students today. Independent demographic and enrollment analyses project continued enrollment growth over the next 10 years.Enrollment is influenced by several factors, not just the total population, including birth rates, families choosing United South Central, and students remaining in the district from year to year. Together, those trends have resulted in steady enrollment growth and increasing demand for classroom space.

Why does the district need additional space?

The current school was designed to serve approximately 625 students with two sections per grade level. Today, nearly every grade level has three sections, and the district serves approximately 745 students.As enrollment has grown, classrooms have filled, schedules have become more complex, and shared spaces, including gymnasiums, are used throughout the school day to accommodate educational programming. The district's planning process identified these space challenges and evaluated options to better support students both now and in the future.
